The Harriet Handbag is a generously sized hand-held purse.

You will need 5 skeins of Noro Kureyon or any Worsted Weight 100% Wool Yarn. You will need US 10.5 Double Point Needles and a US 10.5, 24" Circular Needle.

You will also need a few yards scrap yarn, 4 Stitch Markers (one in a different color), a G or H Crochet Hook, and a Tapestry Needle.

For handles you can use a pair of large wooden straight knitting needles (US 13, 15 or 17). If you use knitting needles for the handle you will need two beads to cover the pointed end of each needle. Pictured are felted "beads". You can glue another type of bead onto the end, just be sure to use a glue that is meant for beads (e.g., E6000).

Felting supplies include a zipper-type mesh laundry bag, laundry soap and a washing machine.
