You will need Worsted Weight 100% Wool Yarn and US 10 Double Point Needles for the adult mittens and sport weight 100% wool yarn and US 7 Double Point Needles for the child mittens.

You will also need assorted embroidery materials, an embroidery needle to suit your chosen material, and any other embellishments you desire. Instructions for the adult and child sizes are the same except that for the adult size you will use worsted weight yarn and US 10 needles and for the child size you will use the sport weight yarn and US 7 needles.

Felting supplies include a zipper-type mesh laundry bag, laundry soap and a washing machine.
