This lightweight Split Cable Wimple designed by Annie Modesitt can be worn under, or in lieu of, a hat or scarf. The open lace pattern holds in heat while allowing breathability in the fabric.

Knit the Split Cable Wimple for one size, 24" (60 cm) around x 18" (45cm) long, with 1 skein of Buffalo Gold Buffboo #13 (200yds (274m); 1.75oz (50g)). Suggested needles are US 6 (4mm) 24" Circular Needles. You will also need a Darning Needle and a Cable Needle (optional).
