Klaus is knitted in one piece starting with the bottom front. Continuing up, stitches are added and then bound off for the sleeves, and then the sweater continues down the back. Short rows are used to shape the sleeves.
Knit Klaus for S (M, L, XL, XXL), chest 34-36" (38-40", 42-44", 46-48", 50-52"), with 936 (936, 1040, 1144, 1352) yards of Heavy Worsted Weight Yarn for the main color and small amounts of yarn in a contrasting color as desired. The design is pictured in Queensland Collection Kathmandu Aran (85% Merino, 10% Silk, 5% Cashmere; 50g/104yds).
Suggested needles are two long US 9 (5.5mm) Circular Needles.
Skills required are general knitting skills plus knowledge of short row shaping.
