This batwing-shaped shawl features an interesting and beautiful lace pattern worked in the style of traditional Faroese shawls. The batwing shaping makes it stay on the shoulders better and more flatteringly than simple triangle shawls. The pattern is worked from the center neck outward and down, so the garment can be made to the size desired by continuing the pattern. This shawl fits all sizes and can be made with any yarn from Fine to Worsted Weight, with an appropriate size hook. It's a gorgeous way to proudly display your crochet skills. Skill level is intermediate.
Crochet Blythe as pictured with about 1500 yards of Worsted Weight Yarn. Suggested crochet hook is an I-9 (5.5mm) Crochet Hook.
