This pretty ballerina's shapely legs and torso take shape stitch by stitch with single crochet increases and decreases. Elsbeth is pure magic dressed in her tulle skirt trimmed with thread crochet roses and leaves and accented with narrow satin ribbon. 17" tall. Skill level is intermediate.

Crochet Elsbeth with Worsted Weight Yarn. You will need size 10 crochet cotton thread for roses and leaves, F-5 (3.75mm) or G-6 (4mm) Crochet Hooks and a Size 6 Steel Hook, 10 yards of 1/8" lavender satin ribbon and 7 yards of 1/8" blue satin ribbon, a 60" x 11" rectangle of pale lavender or blue tulle fabric, a sewing needle and thread to match roses, polyester stuffing, and two thin wooden skewers (optional to pose the doll; not recommended if the doll is for a child).
