This colorful quilt pattern is interpreted in your choice of two entrelac methods for a truly spectacular showpiece. The entrelac blocks on each round grow outward from the crocheted pinwheel center to create a large round motif that is finished with your choice of a small edging or optional striped corners. Skill level is Intermediate.
This pattern features instructions for making the entrelac segment of the design in either single crochet entrelac or Tunisian crochet entrelac. The single crochet entrelac worsted-weight afghan is made with a J-10 (6mm) Crochet Hook; the Tunisian entrelac baby afghan is made with a K-10.5 (6.5mm) Tunisian Hook and a standard K-10.5 (6.5mm) Crochet Hook. Make with smaller hooks or larger yarns for a more dense fabric, and create a gorgeous wall hanging. Instructions for making and mounting a crocheted wall hanging are included in the pattern.
Make this round or square design as shown in Worsted Weight Yarns for a 40" wide adult display afghan or lap afghan, or in baby yarns for a 36" wide baby afghan. Instructions are included for making larger afghans. This design may be worked with any yarn and appropriate hook sizes.
