Beaded Diamond Mosaic is a mix-and-match ensemble of Hat, Crew Socks and Fingerless Mittens. Knit these with two colors of DK Weight Yarn and Size 6/0 Seed Beads. Although the colorwork might appear involved, the slip-stitch color knitting is simple because you only need to handle one yarn color at a time. The beads give an added depth of color and look of complexity to an otherwise simple beaded knitting technique.

Knit the Hat for adult S-M (L-XL), finished measurements 22.5" (25.5") circumference around the body of the hat at fullest part, with 75 (85) yards of DK Weight Yarn in color A (lighter color) and 120 (140) yards in color B (darker color). Suggested needles are US 7 (4.5mm) 16" Circular and Double Point Needles and US 5 (3.75mm) 16" Circular Needles. Knit the Crew Socks for sock foot circumference 8" (8.5", 9.25") with 50 (55, 60) yards of DK Weight Yarn in color A (lighter color) and 215 (245, 285) yards in color B (darker color). Suggested needles are US 2.5 (3mm) and US 5 (3.75mm), 6 (4mm) or 7 (4.5mm) Circular or Double Point Needles. You will need 480 Size 6/0 Seed Beads (approx. 40g) and a bead stringing needle.

Knit the Fingerless Mittens for hand circumference 8" (8.5", 9.25") with 50 (55, 60) yards of DK Weight Yarn in color A (lighter color) and 165 (195, 235) yards in color B (darker color). Suggested needles are US 2.5 (3mm) and US 5 (3.75mm), 6 (4mm) or 7 (4.5mm) Circular or Double Point Needles. You will need 480 Size 6/0 Seed Beads (approx. 40g) and a bead stringing needle.
