Swirling texture and variegated color, embellished with knitted in beads, make these socks fun to knit and distinctive to wear. The shaped top edge naturally occurs due to the bias effect of the pattern. The pattern includes a choice of decorative heel to wear with clogs and sandals, or a plain heel to wear with regular shoes.

Knit for approximate finished foot circumference 7.5" (moderately snug fit) and leg length approximately 6" above heel flap (easily adjusted) with about 375 yards of Fingering Weight Yarn. The pictured socks are shown in Lorna's Laces Shepherd Sock Yarn. You will need 336 size 8/0 glass seed beads (approx. 12g). Suggested needles are US 1 (2.5mm) and 2 (2.75mm) Double Point or two Circular Needles, depending on how you like to work in the round.
