solid-color vest requires approximately 1200 yds of DK Weight Yarn; the cardigan requires 1600 yds; for the multi-color extreme vest you will need DK Weight Yarn: 114 yds aqua, 246 yds delft; 368 yds multi, 184 yds orchid, 123 yds persimmon, 109 yds prune, 123 yds sage and 123 yds taupe, and ribbon: 123 yds gold, 90 yds hairy, 90 yds lilac, 123 yds mint, 123 yds peacock, 123 yds plum, 123 yds rust, 123 yds salmon; for the multi-color cardigan add yarn: 368 yds of orchid and 246 yds of sage
Gauge: 6 sts = 1" on US 4 (3.5mm) Needles for a 39" chest measurement (blocked and buttoned), size can be varied by varying your gauge
