When you see Jane Elliott's magnificent designs, you might ask "Will I be able to actually knit something so complex?" The answer -- You certainly will! Jane writes her patterns in exquisite detail. Jane's patterns are written to make her designs accessible to anyone who can read and execute basic knitting techniques. Every stitch is spelled out in every row. You simply follow the pattern row by row, and you end with a magnificent work of art.

Technique: Knit
Skill Level: Advanced
For Size: Approximately 30" x 35"
Yarn Required: For the solid-color version, approximately 1000 yds Worsted Weight Yarn; for the multi-colored version, 270 yds teal, 70 yds coral, 135 yds orchid, 135 yds mint, and incidental amoutns of blue, green and tangerine (for best results choose a yarn that is at least 25% natural fiber as blanket must be blocked)
Gauge: 3.5 sts = 1" on US 8 (5mm) Needles
Suggested Needle Size: US 8 (5mm) Needles
You Will Also Need: 14 medium Bobbins and a D-3 (3.25mm) Crochet Hook
