The Basic Twined Hat is knit using an old Swedish technique called "two-end knitting". This method will make a hat that is wind resistant yet surprisingly soft. Skill level is Easy.

Knit the Basic Twined Hat for sizes XS/Baby (S/Child, M/Adolescent, L/Adult) with 90 (100, 118, 128) yards of Worsted Weight Yarn. Suggested needles are US 9 (5.5mm) 12"-16" Circular and Double Point Needles. Gauge is 4.75 sts=1" in St St (19 sts=10cm); 6 sts=1" in twining method (24 sts=10cm).
