Knit and felt these bobbled bags. Each of the bags in this pattern is made with a double strand of Cascade 220 Yarn (Worsted Weight Feltable Yarn). You will begin each bag by knitting the bottom in stockinette stitch. You will then pick up stitches around the stockinette bottom and knit in the round toward the top of the bag. For the small bags, the bobbles are worked as you go; for the larger bag, the bobbles are worked separately and then applied.

You will need US 11 (8mm), 24" Circular Needles and a set of US 11 (8mm) Double Point Needles (optional).

Finished dimensions for the small bag are 6" long (front) x 3.5" wide (sides) x 9.5" tall. Finished dimensions for the large bag are 10" long (front) x 4" wide (sides) x 9" tall. (Results may vary with gauge, felting yarn used and time left in the felting process.)

For the Small Bobbled Bag, Colorway 1 is created with 2 skeins of Cascade 220 Yarn in each of Colors 8895 (Bright Red) and 7826 (Yellow-Orange); Colorway 2 is created with 2 skeins each of Colors 8555 (Black) and 9477 (Pale Pink). You will need two P10, P62 or P43 handles in black or red.

For the Large Bobbled Bag, you will need 3 skeins of Cascade 220 Yarn in Color 8555 (Black) and 1 skein each of Colors 7814 (Medium Green), 8910 (Light, Happy Green), 8885 (Aubergine), 8895 (Bright Red), 5016 (Lavender), 8905 (Light Blue), 9455 (Turquoise), 7827 (Medium Yellow), 7828 (Bright Yellow), 7825 (Orange Tang), 7826 (Orangy Yellow), 7803 (Magenta), 9478 (Pale Pink), 7802 (Darker Pink), 9469 (Medium Pink) and 9470 (Purply Pink). You will need P68 handles in black, red, pink, green, teal or royal blue, 6 Bag Feet and a Magnetic Snap. Plastic embroidery canvas is optional.
