Patterns may be used for personal use, but not copied and distributed to others. Purchasing patterns from indie designers is one of the most accessible ways for you to be a patron of the arts. Your purchase directly supports the work of the designer to bring you new and interesting designs in the future. You can help support the designers you love by giving their designs as gifts to family and friends and refusing to copy those patterns as “favors” or “gifts”. The knitting arts community cannot continue to feature the finest patterns if the artists and designers we feature cannot support their efforts to produce, test, and distribute the high quality patterns Dream Weaver Yarns chooses to feature.
