Surround yourself with the lusciouness of huge poppies even in the coldest moments of the year.

Technique: Knit (felt or not)
Skill Level: Cowl, Easy; Poppies, Intermediate
For Size: Cowl Height approximately 9" (22.5cm) [13" (32.5cm)] and Circumference 42" (105cm); Poppies diameter approximately 8" (20cm) and stem 2" (5cm) or desired length
Your kit includes: The yarn and supplies needed as per the pattern to make the Cowl and Poppies as pictured. Optionally include the Noni Escher's Oriental Poppy Cowl Pattern No. 1502.
Gauge: Cowl, 16 sts and 6 rows = 4" (10cm) in stockinette stitch; Poppy gauge is 24 sts/32rows over 4” (10cm) on a size 6 needle or needle size to obtain gauge. The kit is built so that the poppies should be worked at this gauge or yarn shortage may result, if worked to gauge, yardage will be left over. No additional yarn will be supplied. Please be careful to work to gauge.
Suggested Needle/Hook Size (not included in the kit): For Cowl, US 10 (6mm) Needles; for Poppies, US 6 (4mm) Double Point Needles
You Will Also Need (not included in the kit): Tapestry Needle, sewing needle, Locking Stitch Markers (to use as stitch holders), and a Darning Needle
