All of the bags in this pattern are knitted with a double strand of Cascade 220 Yarn (Worsted Weight Feltable Yarn) and begin with a stockinette rectangle. Stitches are then picked up around the rectangle and then joined to work in the round to the top of the bag. Knit and felt. Skill level is beginner to advanced.

Create the 9 to 9 to 9 Evening Bag with Purple Camellias or Maribou Feathers. You will need US 11 (8mm), 24" Circular Needles, US 8 (5mm) Needles and two Purse Handles. As pictured the bag is created with 2 skeins of Cascade 220 Yarn in Color 8555 (Black) and 1 skein in 8885 (Purple) and 1 ball of Crystal Palace Fizz in Color 7321 (Black) for the Camellias or 1 yard of maribou feathers in the color of your choice. Finished dimensions are 7.5" width, 3" depth, and 7.5" height. (Results may vary with gauge, felting yarn used and time left in the felting process.)

Create the Green Fish Scales and White Coral Bag with US 11 (8mm), 16" Circular or Double Point Needles and US 8 (5mm) Double Point Needles. To create the Green Fish Scales Bag as pictured, you will need 2 skeins of Cascade 220 Yarn in Color 8910 and 1 skein in Color 8914, 600 20mm Paillettes, and 2 Purse Handles. To create the White Coral Bag as pictured, you will need 2 skeins of Cascade 220 Yarn in Color 8010 and 1 skein of Katia Ingenua in Color 21 (Pale Pink), Color 27 (Seafoam) or Color 03 (Cream) (pictured with pink and green Mohair), and 200 20mm iridescent white Paillettes. Finished dimensions of these two bags are 5.5" wide across front x 3" wide at sides x 7" tall. (Results may vary with gauge, felting yarn used and time left in the felting process.)
