The Flamenco Bag is a medium-sized bag that was inspired by the luxurious skirts worn by the flamenco dancer. This bag gives the impression of romance and movement even when sitting on a table. It is a roomy bag that can go anywhere, from the park to a fancy evening out.

Flamenco Bags are surprisingly easy to make and complete: the felting and finishing is very quick and easy though the finished bag looks sleek and high-end. Add Beauty Bag Feet for a wonderfully luxurious finished look. Finished bags measure approximately 16-19" (40-48cm) wide at bottom and 8-9" (20-22.5cm) deep when sitting up (rectangular bottom itself approximately 7" (17.5cm) wide and 4" (10cm) deep), 8.5" (21.25cm) tall from bottom to frame. Skill level is Intrepid Beginner to Intermediate.

To knit and felt the Flamenco Bag, this kit includes 6 skeins of Cascade 220 (100% Peruvian Highland Wool; 220yds/100g), an LV83 Purse Frame, and a Purse Chain with Lobster Claw Clip.

You will need US 11 (8mm) 24" (60cm) and 32" (80cm) Circular Needles, Split Ring or Locking Stitch Markers, a Tapestry Needle, and a sewing needle and polyester sewing or nylon beading thread. Needles and notions are not included in the kit.
