Each of these bags is worked in the round from the top down. To add a ruffle, return to the top, pick up in the cast on stitches and then increase until the knitted fabric begins to buckle. Flowers are knitted and then assembled before felting. After they have been felted and blocked they are sewn to the felted bags. Finished dimensions are 8"-8.5" high x 20"-24" in circumference. Knit and felt. Skill level is beginner to advanced.

The Grass Green Garden Bag is created with 2 skeins of Cascade 220 Yarn (Worsted Weight Feltable Yarn) in Bright Green 7814 and 1 skein each in Turquoise 9455, Royal Blue 9457 and Dark Turquoise 2433, a skein (220 yds) of Small Gauge Loopy Mohair in neon green, and a ball of Crystal Palace Fizz (Novelty Yarn) in Dark Turquoise 9402 or Neon Green 9224 for stamens. You will also need 4.5" x 5.5" Acrylic Handles.

The Pink & Red Garden Bag is created with 3 skeins of Cascade 220 Yarn (Worsted Weight Feltable Yarn) in Pink 7805 and 2 skeins in Bright Red 8895. You will also need 4.5" x 5.5" Acrylic Handles.
