Naturally Insulated Use-Them-Again Bags!
This pattern contains instructions for a reusable alternative to paper or plastic grocery bags. The naturally insulating and sturdy quality of felt makes these bags ideal for carrying groceries, including frozen and refrigerated foods that need to be kept cool. Protect the earth in small ways that add up! The bags are knit in one piece, including handle tabs. Handle hardware is added before felting. There is no finishing once the bags come out of the washer! Felted dimensions are approximately 16" (40cm) tall x 7" (17.5cm) deep x 12" (30cm) wide. Skill level is Beginner to Intermediate.
