This small-ish evening bag is knit using Fair Isle color work technique or without any pattern for those who prefer an equally elegant but more simple look. The bag itself is made in two pieces. Both the top and bottom are knit in the round, beginning with the lower edge of the bag top and the upper edge of the bag bottom. The circular top and bottom are achieved by decreasing into the center. Knit and felt. Finished dimensions are 20.5" circ. x 8.5" high with zipper, 22.25" circ. x 7.5" high with zipper and 20.5" circ. x 5.5" high with zipper.

Pictured bags were made with Cascade 220 Yarn, Worsted Weight Feltable Yarn. To create the Small Harequen Pill Box as pictured, you will need 2 skeins of Cascade 220 Yarn in Color 8895 and 1 skein in 9404. For the Medium Harlequin Pill Box, you will need 2 skeins of Color 8555 and 1 skein of Color 8400. For the Large Harlequen Pill Box, you will need 2 skeins each of Colors 8400 and 9478 (or 2 skeins each of 8013 and 9408).

You will need US 13 (9mm), 24" Circular Needles, a set of US 13 (9mm) Double Point Needles, and US 11 (8mm), 12" and 24" Circular Needles. You will also need 2.5 yards of fine 1-sided velvet ribbon, 1/8 yard velvet or other fabric for fabric bow handle, or 3/8 yard for ruched rosette handle, a large-toothed plastic zipper, 6 to 8 Bag Feet and a Magnetic Snap.
