This small baguette is constructed by using a double strand of yarn to work a flat rectangular piece in stockinette, the ends of which are worked in the round (only 4 rows) while the center of the rectangle is worked back and forth so that there is a bag opening the length of the tube. Once the rectangular tube is complete, pick up stitches on the wrong side of the tube "ends" and work in the round, decreasing into the center. Bags measures 20" (51cm) circumference and 6.6" (16.75cm) wide. Knit and felt. Skill level is intermediate.

All colorways call for a double strand of Cascade 220 Yarn, Worsted Weight Feltable Yarn. Blues is created with 2 skeins of Robin's Egg 8905 and 1 each of Anis 8908, Summer Sky 7815, Bluebell 7816 and Azur 8906. Purples is created with 2 skeins of Iris 2421 and 1 each of Delphinium 9467, Hyacinth 7808, Italian Plum 8886 and Lavender 5016. Pinks is created with 2 skeins of Rouge Red 7801 and 1 each of Hot Pink 9469, Fuchsia 9470, Monmarte 2423 and Cerise 7802. Wedding Mix is created with 2 skeins of Natural 8010 and 1 each of Soft Pink 4192, Tutu 9477, Dune 9460 and Celery 9470.

These bags require US 11 (8mm), 24" Circular Needles, US 11 (8mm) Double Point Needles and US 7 (4.5mm) Straight or Double Point Needles.

You will also need a Tapestry Needle, nylon beading thread, a 7" large-toothed zipper, two 6.25/6.5" curly or natural/plastic bamboo handles, and 4 Bag Feet in gold, silver or bronze finishes.
