This pattern offers instructions for two types of flowers that share the same basic structure: Mandeville and Jasmine flowers. You may choose to make each flower in three different sizes, for a total of six sizes from "largest" Mandeville flower to the tiny "smallest" Jasmine flower. There are also instructions for leaves and the vines these flowers grow on. The flowers themselves begin with their long flutes and proceed to a whorl of five petals at the opening of their fluted blossums.
Knit and felt Mandeville flowers with 1 skein, approximately 220 yards, of Cascade 220 Yarn (Worsted Weight Feltable Yarn) in Cotton Candy 9478 for flowers and 1 skein in Chartreuse 7814 for vine and leaves.
Knit and felt Jasmine flowers with 1 skein of Cascade 220 Yarn in Cream 8010 for flowers and 1 skein of Shire 2445 for vine and leaves.
Each skein of Cascade 220 Yarn makes several flowers.
You will need 2 sets of US 11 (8mm) Double Point Needles and US 7 (4.5mm) Double Point Needles.
