These small basket-style bags are worked in the round from the top down. The basket lid is knit from the lower edge to the center top. The bag is finished with a profusion of small five-petal "tea roses" or "buttercups" placed on the bag lid. A short I-cord loop in the center top is used to attach a custom Noni handle (available in a Sunbelt Accessory Packet). Finished bags are 10" (25.5cm) high with 18" (46cm) circumference at the top and 13" (33cm) at the bottom. (Results may vary with the individual knitter's unfelted gauge, type of felting yarn used, and the time left in the felting process.) Knit and felt. Skill level is intermediate.

All colorways call for Cascade 220 Yarn, Worsted Weight Feltable Yarn. The Large Bag is created with 2 skeins of Black 8555, 2 skeins of Cotton Candy 9478 and 1 ball of Crystal Palace Fizz Hot Pink 7304. The Small Bag with Tea Roses is created with 2 skeins of Cherry 2426, 1 skein of Christmas Red 8895, 1 skein of Ruby Red 9404 and 1 ball of Crystal Palace Fizz Candy Apple 7308 or Hibiscus Red 7325. The Small Bag with Buttercups is created with 2 skeins of Natural 8010 and 1 skein each of Goldenrod 7827, Lemon Yellow 4147B, Neon Yellow 7828 and 1 ball of Crystal Palace Fizz Sunshine Yellow 7305.

These bags require US 11 (8mm), 24" Circular Needles, US 11 (8mm) Double Point Needles, US 7 (4.5mm) Straight Needles for Tea Roses, and US 5 (3.75mm) Straight Needles for Buttercups.

You will also need a Tapestry Needle, sewing needle, nylon beading thread, and a custom "Noni Handle" in Black, Red or Cream (available in the Sunbelt Accessory Packet for this bag).
