This pattern contains instructions for Three Confections, sweet little bags that are perfect for day trips, fun stops at the downtown mall, or strolls through a new city. The bags are fun, flirty, easy to make and finish, and big enough to hold the essentials: keys, small wallet, lipstick.

These little bags are unembellished, but you can certainly adorn them with the Noni flower of your choice. The felting and finishing for these three bags is particularly easy. Raspberry Liqueur can be made in one day, felted and carried the next day. Sugared Orange Rind and Maraschino Cherry Bonbon may take slightly longer to knit, but not to finish! All you do is attach the felted "flaps" to the snap closure by folding them over a detachable rod and hand-sewing them in place (no fancy stitches as only you will see it). Once this is done (in as little as 40 minutes or so), you are ready to pack your little bag and walk out the door. Skill level is Intrepid Beginner to Intermediate.

Knit and felt Raspberry Liqueur with 2 skeins of Cascade 220 (100% Peruvian Highland Wool; 220yds/100g) in 7801 Rouge Red. You will need US 11 (8mm) 24" (60cm) Circular and Double Point Needles, a Tapestry Needle, a sewing needle, polyester sewing or nylon beading thread, an LV59 Purse Frame and a set of Noni Pockets in a color of your choice. Finished size is 9" (22.5cm) wide across bottom when laid flat x 7" (17.5cm) wide just below beginning of flap when laid flat x 7.5" (18.75cm) high from bottom to frame when standing up. Flap width is 6.5" (16.25cm). Entire flap depth is 2.75" (6.9cm) before it is on the frame. Inside flap depth once sewn on frame is 1.25" (13.13cm).

Knit and felt Candied Orange Rind with 3 skeins of Cascade 220 in 9444 Tangerine Heather. You will need US 11 (8mm) 16" (40cm) and 24" (60cm) Circular Needles, a Tapestry Needle, a sewing needle, polyester sewing or nylon beading thread, an LV59 Purse Frame and a set of Noni Pockets in red or a color of your choice. Finished size is 7.5" (18.75cm) wide when laid flat x 9.5" (23.75cm) high from bottom to frame when standing up x 1.5-2" (3.75-5cm) side depth when standing up. Flap width is 6.5" (16.25cm). Entire flap depth is 3" (7.5cm) before it is on the frame. Inside flap depth once it is on the frame is .5" (1.25cm).

Knit and felt Maraschino Cherry Bonbon with 4 skeins of Cascade 220 in 8895 Christmas Red. You will need US 11 (8mm) 16" (40cm) and 24" (60cm) Circular Needles, a Tapestry Needle, a sewing needle, polyester sewing or nylon beading thread, an LV59 Purse Frame and a set of Noni Pockets in red or a color of your choice. Felted dimensions when bag is standing up are 11" wide diameter x 7.25" high from bottom to frame. Flap width is 6.5" (16.25cm). Entire flap measures 3" (7.5cm). Inside flap depth once sewn on frame is 1.25" (3.13cm).
