These two elegant bags were inspired by the beautiful berries dripping from different plants in the Autumn and Winter months. Tilli Tomas's beautiful Flurries and Mogul beaded yarns make stunning the twists and turns of the branch embellishments. Skill level is Beginner to Intermediate.

Knit and felt the Small Bag with Red Winter Berries with 5 skeins of Cascade 220 Yarn in 8400 Charcoal, 1 skein of 9404 Ruby, and 2 skeins of Tilli Tomas Flurries (100% Australian Wool with Glass Beads; 50g/70yds) in Chocolate Cherry for the branches. Optional: use 1 skein of Cascade 220 Yarn 2426 Cherry for two colors of berries or 1 skein of Tilli Tomas Flurries (100% Australian Wool with Glass Beads; 50g/70yds) in Ruby Wine for beaded berries. You will need a 20" (50cm) large-toothed grey zipper and two 2.25" (5.75cm) chunky nickel-finish purse rings or 2 JUL Silver Red Garnet Winter Berries Rings. Finished size is approximately 7" (17.5cm) tall in the middle and 10" (25cm) tall at the handle x 13" (32.5cm) wide x 5.5" (13.75cm) deep.

Knit and felt the Large Bag with White Winter Berries with 7 skeins of Cascade 220 Yarn in 9465 Vashon Island Heather, 1 skein of 8010 Natural, and 1 skein of Tilli Tomas Mogul (100% Australian Wool with Glass Beads; 100g/80yds) in Iced Cafe Latte for the branches. (For beaded berries, use 1 skein of Tilli Tomas Flurries (100% Australian Wool with Glass Beads; 50g/70yds) in Natural instead of Cascade 220 Yarn 8010 Natural.) You will need a 20" (50cm) large-toothed black zipper and two 2.5" (6.5cm) chunky nickel-finish purse rings or 2 JUL Silver White Moonstone Winter Berries Rings. Finished size is approximately 10" (25cm) tall in the middle and 15" (37.5cm) tall at the handle x 11" (27.5cm) wide x 6" (15cm) deep.

Suggested needles are US 11 (8mm) 24" Circular Needles, US 11 (8mm) Double Point Needles, US 6 (4.25mm) Double Point Needles, and US 7 (4.5mm) Double Point Needles. You will also need a Tapestry Needle and a sewing needle and coordinating thread.
