Add a little sparkle to your day or night! This shrug is a smart little layering garment, great for warm weather day-wear and all-year evening attire. Go glam-casual and wear this shrug with jeans and a tank to a BBQ, or go properly elegant and wear it with an evening dress to a soiree.
Not only will you look great, you will learn to simply combine knit and crochet to take advantage of the inherent strengths in each. You will use very basic crochet stitches for the base of this design, and finish by picking up knit stitches along the edge of the shrug to create a simple knitted ribbing. If you are new to crochet or new to knitting, never fear. The pattern provides photo tutorials illustrating the basic techniques you will need to know to complete this classic. This pattern requires intermediate skills.
