Suggested needles are US 9 (5.5mm) Needles. You will also need a Tapestry Needle and a beading needle to go through the pearls, 108 14mm glass pearls, 30 clear seed beads, and 3 matching colors of embroidery floss for sewing points of Zig Zags.
