Q: When is a ribbing not a ribbing?
A: When it's lace!
White Lies Designs has used ribbing in an unexpected way on this long-waisted, lovely sweater. The bodice and sleeves are infused with pretty floral ribbon embroidery and a sprinkling of sequins and pearls -- an overall charming way to show your feminine side.
To fit bust sizes 32" (36", 40", 44", 48", 52", 56", 60"), you will need 800 (900, 1000, 1000, 1100, 1200, 1300, 1400) yards of DK Weight Yarn (light worsted). The model was created with Halo DK (50% Mohair/50% Wool) in Blue Iris. Suggested needles are US 6 and 7.
You will also need 50 yards of 1/2" wide knitting ribbon (blue/white used on model), clear sequins, pearls, six 5/8" glass buttons, an H Crochet Hook (optional), a Tapestry Needle, and a sewing needle and thread.
