This stylish, head-turning tank uses a reversible stitch pattern that is a fun "TV knitting" stitch, along with lovely crocheted embellishments. The pattern is easy enough for an advanced beginner to tackle, but unique enough to keep a knitter of any skill level interested. The design is knit from the bottom up. Photo support and schematic are included.
For finished bust 32" (36", 40", 44", 48"), create the design with 600 (750, 750, 900, 1050) yards of heavy Worsted Weight Yarn that will give a gauge of 4 stitches/inch. For the strap and chain embellishments you will need 250 yards of Worsted Weight Yarn. The design can be created with 5 (7, 7, 8, 9) skeins of Tilli Tomas Silk n' Shimmer or Simply Heaven for the body and 1 skein of Tilli Tomas Pure & Simple for the tank strap and chain embellishments. As pictured, the design was created with Prism Dover for the body, Alchemy Silk Purse for the tank strap and embellishments and Alchemy Silken Straw Colorways for the chain embellishments, along with Hannah Hand Dyed 1" Silk Ribbon and beads for the fringe (optional). Create your own masterpiece!
Suggested needle is a US 10 (6mm), 16" or larger Circular Needle. You will need E-4 (3.5mm) and G-6 (4.5mm) Crochet Hooks, a Tapestry Needle, Row Counter, Scissors, and a Tape Measure.
