Suggested needles are US 8 (5mm) 16" and 20" Circular Needles, US 8 (5mm) 32" or Longer Circular Needles. If you prefer to use double points to knit in the round, you should have a set of US 8 (5mm) Double Point Needles. You will also need 5 Stitch Markers and a Tapestry Needle.
