Marilynn is the perfect addition to a simple dress or top for holiday gatherings or any time. While Marilynn can be made with any yarn and any hook size, the designer thinks it is prettiest made with a light Worsted Weight Yarn or a substantial Sport Weight Yarn and about an H-8 (5mm) Crochet Hook. Marilynn is beautiful over a garment with any style of neckline. The long-sleeve version adds a touch of warmth and elegance to shoulder-baring holiday dresses and tops. Made with a festive, sparkly yarn, it will be just the thing to wear to holiday get-togethers this year.

Crochet the long-sleeve version for sizes XS-S (M-L, XL-1X, 2X-3X, 4X-5X) with 7 (7, 8.5, 8.5, 8.5) ounces of Worsted Weight or lighter weight yarn. Crochet the short-sleeve version with 5.5 (5.5, 6, 6, 6.5) ounces. You will also need a 1/2"-3/4" shank button (optional), or garment may be held closed with a brooch.
