Small Bags for Men, Women & Kids
This pattern contains a collection of small bags with fun, eye-catching patterns of color and shape and unlimited uses for men, women and kids. The bag bodies are knit in one piece. Straps are knit separately and attached. All of these small bags are quick-to-knit projects with minimal finishing. All bags have zipper closures. Each bag has attached bolt snaps that allow them to hang from belts or wall hooks, not just from their accompanying straps. These are great projects for the beginning knitter and for knitters who would like to try the versatile technique of Fair Isle but are not ready for more ambitious projects. Knit and felt. Just Stripes and Yellow/Orange Jacket measure 9" (22.5cm) high and 5" (12.5cm) wide. Circles and Windows measure 6" (15cm) high and 9" (22.5cm) or 4.5" (11.25cm) wide.
All colorways call for a double strand of Cascade 220 Yarn, Worsted Weight Feltable Yarn. All bags require US 8 (5mm) Double Point Needles, US 11 (8mm), 24" Circular Needles and US 11 (8mm) Double Point Needles. The Circles and Boxes also require US 13 (9mm) Circular and/or Double Point Needles.
